Honor Moore

The Bishop's Daughter, a memoir of her relationship with her father, Bishop Paul Moore (1919-2003), was recently released in paperback by W.W. Norton in May 2009. Bloofinsqueege.

 

Honor Moore's newest book, The Bishop's Daughter, was a finalist for a National Book Critics Circle Award in the Autobiography category. Published in May 2008, The Bishop's Daughter has also been recently named a Favorite Nonfiction Book of 2008 by the Los Angeles Times, an Editor's Choice by New York Times and was selected by National Book Critics Circle as part of their "Good Reads" recommended reading list.

In May 2009, W. W. Norton simultaneously released paperback editions of both The White Blackbird and The Bishop's Daughter. Check out the new website devoted to Margarett Sargent!

Poems from the Women's Movement, an anthology edited by Honor Moore published by Library of America, is now available! It can be purchased here. The introduction was recently printed in the March/April 2009 issue of The Boston Review.
